HYT Senior classes present THE GIRL WHO WAS A HUNDRED GIRLS Written by Finegan Kruckemyer Directed by Hayley Horton What company can solitude offer? A girl is kidnapped. She is kept in a room. She sees no one. She hears nothing. She has only her shadow as companion. After a time, she tells it her stories. After some more, it lends her its own. The Girl Who Was A Hundred Girls is the story of eight woman, over different generations, borne from one woman. Each has a task that seems too great for an individual - liberation, victory, to conquer, to love. But each has hope.
HYT Youth classes present CLARA AND THE NUTCRACKER - A MAGICAL ADVENTURE Written for HYT by Zoe Muller Directed by Di Mason HYT presents this exciting adventure, loosely based on the E.T.A. Hoffmann fantasy story 'The Nutcracker and the Mouse King', about a girl who befriends a nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve and wages war against the evil Mouse King. Delight in the adventures of Clara and her little brother Tommy as they enter a magical world of fighting mice, dancing fairies, heroic dolls, lovely lollipops and friendly gingerbreads. All is not lost when Clara saves the day and the Land of Sweets is once more returned to peace and happiness.
