Enjoy this ‘coming of age’ story, following the lives of the 4 March sisters; Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy as they grow up, find love and find their place in the world. Their Mother is their friend and guide while their Father is away fighting at the war. It has strong themes of family, domesticity, and work, and most of all true love; all of them interdependent and each necessary to the achievement of its heroine's individual identity.
Louisa May Alcott's semi-autobiographical novel, based loosely on her own family of herself and her 3 sisters, has captured young women and the young at heart for years.
HYT hopes to encapture all the qualities of the original story, as the March sisters enter the threshold of womanhood, go through many ups and downs of life and endeavour to make important decisions that can affect their future.
